• Waitlist email — if you join the waitlist on this site, we store your email address to notify you about product updates.
• Account data — if you create an app account, we store your name, email, and authentication credentials (passwords are hashed).
• Usage data — bookmarks, collections, and feed interactions to provide the service.
• Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging.

How we use your information

• Provide and improve the Factsip service
• Send waitlist and product announcements (you can unsubscribe)
• Authenticate app users and sync saved content
• Protect against abuse and maintain security

Data retention

Waitlist emails are retained until you ask us to remove them or the product launches and you create an account. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

Third parties

We do not sell your personal information. Content generation may use third-party AI and TTS services configured on our infrastructure; source article text may be sent to those services for processing.
